Pricing

How pricing works on Wavedash

Free games

Free games are completely free to publish. No marketplace fee, no restrictions. Anyone can create an account and ship a free game with zero friction.

For paid games, Wavedash takes a 10% marketplace fee. Payment processor fees may also apply depending on the checkout flow.

To set a price, go to Developer Portal → your game → Pricing. You can set any price you want and change it anytime. Players see the price on your store page before they buy.

Changing the price

You can update the price at any time from the Pricing page. New visitors see the new price immediately; players who already own the game are unaffected.

Getting paid

Payouts run through Stripe Connect. Before you can take money, you'll connect a Stripe account from Developer Portal → Payouts and complete Stripe's onboarding (business info, tax forms, bank account). Once payouts are enabled, earnings accumulate to your Stripe balance and follow Stripe's payout schedule.

If you haven't finished Stripe onboarding yet, your game can still be listed at a price — but purchases can't be completed until your account is verified.
